The largest mining company in the world wants to build a Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal off the coast of Malibu and Oxnard. This massive floating LNG terminal is three football fields long and 14 stories high. It would receive and store LNG, a highly flammable gas, from huge LNG tankers that would arrive at least two to three times a week from foreign countries overseas.

This project poses significant and potentially irreversible impacts to our coast, our environment and the health and safety of our children. We can stop it, but time is short. The project may receive its first approvals as early as Spring 2007.

CCPN (California Coastal Protection Network) is working tirelessly to defeat this dangerous, massive project. Governor Schwarzenegger has the power to veto this project now.
